Hey,
I need some new friends! A lot of mine have stopped posting. I frequent LJ a lot!
My name is Jenni, I'm 21 and I live with my boyfriend Eli in Victoria, BC. I work in a call center and I really like my job. I like video games a lot, and want some friends who can nerd over video games with me! I'm playing Dragon Age right now, and will play Assassin's Creed 2 afterwards!
I like a lot of music, comic books and I love Doctor Who. Be my friend! I promise (I hope!) I'm not too boring!

I quit modeling because of how empty it made me feel.
I've had a poem published.
I have Generalized Anxiety disorder.
I hate being drunk. I like being in control of myself.
I am bisexual.
I think an honest politician is an oxymoron.
I've had depression on and off since 2001. People say that I don't "look depressed." It's because I have a smile most of the time, even when I'm hurting inside.
I am 100% real. I don't act fake to please people.
I am allergic to caffeine.
I am very open minded.
I've never tried drugs.
My biggest pet peeve are people who are two-faced.
I am honest, no matter what.
I don't believe in labels.
I can't live without comedy.
I love classic lit.
I am a comment whore. I comment on random live journals.
I want to live in Seattle someday.
Even though I'm 5'9, I wear heels sometimes.
My eyes change from aqua to gunmetal gray, depending on my mood.
I love to study psychology, sociology, philosophy, photography, and meteorology.
I'm mostly German.
I have an incredibly dysfunctional family.

Here's my very first FOTD! I took the photos on my MacBook and it's dark in my apartment no matter where I go, but I may try our tiny bathroom next time! :D
Anyway, I've been watching this community for a little while now and I love all of your looks! I just figured I'd start posting some of my own and hopefully next semester I'll have a camera so these won't look so bad. But I was just experimenting with some things and came up with this...

So last night I ran into the owners from the beauty school I attended. They didn't seem to approve that I was pursuing a career (although I'm sure they didn't see it as a career) in makeup, rather than working in some lame salon somewhere.

hey everybody,
i'm maggie. i'm 20. i'm a junior at columbia university in new york city, but i'm originally from northern new jersey. i'm double-majoring in film and political science (concentrating in foreign policy). i'm currently deciding between two careers to pursue: screenwriter/director or lawyer/judge...
i mostly post about films i see, tv shows i like and pop culture aspects (politics, music, museum exhibitions, etc.) that i have opinions about... i like to make top 10 lists about random things... i also like to use my journal as an actual journal and post about my feelings and personal thoughts...

| The quest for a silver ribbon |

With the day that Dan will haul home a Christmas tree and we’ll proceed to decorate it being just two days away, it suddenly dawned on me that I should probably find a silver tree skirt and silver tree topper to match this year’s color scheme. I’m not too picky about the tree skirt, but I had something very specific in mind for a tree topper: a poofy silver bow with cascading tails that cascade down the length of the tree. Apparently this type of ribbon must be a figment of my imagination, because it took me four stores to come up with a bow that semi-resembled the bow in my mind, and I had to buy a spool of silver holiday ribbon in order to be able to create that full-length cascading effect.
Ugh. I was going to continue this blog entry, but it’s 11:36pm, and I feel like I can barely keep my eyes open… Zzz…

This is me, in the middle. These are my beautiful friends, and someone from skins. No, I didn't know who he was either but apparently he's famous..
Me : Leigh, 21, Scotland, single, student - history&politics - but I'm not as boring as that might have you believe lol. I have lots of 'real life' friends, I have a social life, and I'm not too much of a weirdo.
I'm looking for lots of new friends. NOT to increase my numbers, or to get loads of comments, but just because I spend a fair amount of time online and I never have enough to read. Livejournal is my favourite place, by far. Although I don't add anyone from my normal life on my journal, I would consider almost everyone on it a real friend. I'll definitely read everything you post and take the time to get to know you, although I can't promise constant comments and in return I don't expect them back. Fair is fair.

I've been on LJ for years however I took a LONG hiatus and am now back and have lost many of my friends a little bit about me....
I am Elizabeth I am a 24 year old mother to a 4 year old boy named Dennis. I am married to a police dispatcher and we are happy. We fight but we're good lol. I stay at home with my son. He is a full time job. I love reading and watching movies. And music makes my world go round I would rather listen to music than watch TV most of the time. I read everything from autobiographies to horror to How to guides. I just love it. I listen to all music from Eminem to Regina Spektor and Ani Difranco. I use my journal as a day to day stress reliever and just keeping track of everything. I really want to gain some more commenters and make some friends. I get along with most anyone.
